At first it was hard to be at home all day instead of at work. Aside from a few lulls here and there, I've pretty much always worked.
I have to admit, though, this homemaker stuff is pretty satisfying. I kinda love it.
It is so much fun to watch my two-year-old grow into a little boy (he's my BABY, dangit!). I am having a blast watching his toddler brain grow and develop. His imagination is just....so....huge! He does and says the funniest things when he is lost in his own little world and doesn't think anyone is watching/listening. I love hearing him over the monitor when he wakes up in the mornings and starts playing pretend with his cars and dinosaurs and trains.
He is talking more and more these days too. His little toddler voice is just the CUTEST. He does his best to carry on long conversations with us (he wants to be like the big people). Today, he re-hashed a spider killing from last night with me for about ten minutes. And then, the conversation turned to what else but...? Iron Man. (Daddy decided to throw that movie into the rotation...which means I have seen it a hundred times in the last week or two....oi)
Enjoy if you wish...
I realize there is a shimmery bloop of booger under his nose...believe me--I tried wiping it over and over. It was a constant stream (he's cutting molars), so I just let him be...
