I've been following the SOPA and PIPA news for a couple of months now and today is a great day to take a stand. I'm joining the protest and participating in Blackout Day. (Yes, that means the "Ask a..." feature is going to be postponed...until tomorrow)

A lot of people may be reading this and thinking "What is SOPA? What is PIPA?" Please educate yourselves and join the rest of us in protesting!

What Are SOPA and PIPA And Why All The Fuss?

Would you like to preserve the internet? Would you like to keep it innovative? Do you enjoy your freedom to browse and share?

Then join me, along with countless other leading public interest organizations and technology companies like Wikipedia, Reddit, and Google in protesting  the PROTECT IP ACT (PIPA) and its companion legislation in the US House, the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA). Their names make them sound just dandy, but they threaten to take away our freedom on the internet.

There is a week left until  Senators return to Washington from their districts, when their vote is scheduled on the PROTECT IP ACT, and you can make a difference! Let your voice be heard!!

We need to take a stand and tell our government that they have no right to revoke our freedoms!
