I'm excited for a few reasons

That frozen food/freezer smell. You know that smell right? I interviewed for a job at Walmart this week. They offered me the job and I took it, so they did a walkthrough of the area I'd be working in--frozen food and dairy. Stocking. Not the most glamorous job, but it's a paycheck!! Anyway, I'm gonna be cold for the next little while. Due to the nature of my job, I'll be spending a lot of time in walk-in freezers.

Ramen Noodles....mmmm....ramen....I love it! I'm a simple girl in many ways. One thing I always have in my house (when I have any sort of say in the grocery shopping and/or at least some control over the pantry--not the case right now) is a flat of ramen. Always. It tastes good, it's easy to change up and be creative with, only takes a few minutes to cook, and its SUPER cheap. I hadn't had any ramen in a few months and I was craving it, so I went and grabbed a few packages Thursday....yummm.....

"Dead Like Me". I just started watching it--from the beginning of course. (Thank you Netflix!) I really like it. It's dark, but funny.

Quiet! Yessss!!! Ray (who still lives with my dad and me--in his own room now) finally got a gamer headset. I guess it amplifies and improves sound--he can hear the foot steps and whatever of other players in Call of Duty or something. The best part: I don't have to hear it all. The gun shots, the explosions, etc.--all in his headphones now. Sweet.

Ugh...the annoyance of a burnt tongue. I burnt it on the afore-mentioned ramen noodles. I guess I was a little eager....oh'll be better in a day or two...

Two thoughts. Huge ones. First of all, I've decided that I want to pursue photography. I mean, I always knew that I would do it my whole life but now I've decided that that's what I'm going to study in school too. It's what I want to DO. And for a lot of great reasons: I love it. I always have and always will. It's something I can (and probably will) do from home, so it will be great when I have a family. I will be able to set my own hours and work whenever I want to. All of that=best job ever. Second, I've decided on a pet that I want to get. For a while I was debating on whether I should get another cat or maybe a dog. Then, out of nowhere, I've decided that I want a ferret. I've spent the last little while researching them--pros and cons and care and stuff like that. Seems like the perfect pet for me. They're playful like a dog would be, but easy like a cat. They can entertain themselves with simple toys or they will play with you - whichever is available. You can teach them to use a litter box just like a cat. If you get them spayed/neutered and de-scented, they won't be stinky or aggressive. I'm so excited! I'm getting one. Now I have to think about possible names....Waldo (Where's Waldo), Marco (Marco Polo), and Lulu (it's just cute) are some that I've thought about so far...
